  Day The Walk Overnight Camp  
  1 Leave Arusha early for Londorossi gate. Then drive to the Lemosho trailhead ,an hour to reach the start. On arrival, eat lunch, then walk through rain forest to the first camp in approximately 3-4 hours. Forest Camp (2700 m)  
  2 Early start out of the rain forest onto a  steep track into tall grasses, heather, and volcanic rock. Bellow is the Shirarain plateau. Reach camp in 5 - 6 hours. Shira
(3500 m)		  
  3 Full day hiking over the Shira plateau, Trek east toward Kibo glacier peak, with the option to visit the ancient collapsed Shira cone. The oldest of Kilimanjaro’s three volcanoes. Reach camp in 3 - 4 hours  Shira Camp (3850 m)  
  4 Early start waking slowly over expansive ridgelines of high desert to Lava Tower.  Lava Tower is a 80 meter volcanic pipe at  the top of the pass. (View from the tower is a must see)  Reaching the camp in 4-5 hours. Lava Tower  Camp(3940 m)  
  5 Early Start up a steep, rocky path will bring you to Arrow Glacier camp, at the foot of the Western Breach. Reach camp in 2 hours in order to rest for a challenging day ahead. Arrow Glacier Camp (4600 m)  
  6 Early start up the Western Breach, which will take approximately 5-7 hours. Upon reaching the crater rim, you  be will have stunning views of the Northern Icefields,  Furtwangler Glacier and Uhuru Peak.Camp, Crater Camp (5600m)  
  7 An early rise to watch the sunrise from the summit, which will take about 1.5 hours from Crater Camp.  Descend past the sloping crater rim to Stella Point  (5,790 m.) then descend the Mweka Route down a steep slope to Barafu Camp ( 4,600 ) m for lunch. Total trekking time is from 7-10 hours.  Barafu Camp (4600 m)  
  8 The trek to the gate takes about 4 -5 hours. You will have some lunch and catch your transfer back to Arusha.
